One of the most beautiful and eagerly awaited seasons of the year on Vancouver Island is, without a doubt, summer. Families and friends flock to the lakes and beaches, taking full advantage of our long days, radiant sun, and the dreamlike landscapes this generous island has to offer.
Every summer brings new adventures — it’s a time to set aside worries and stress, and turn them into joyful memories and meaningful moments that build the best family stories.
Great news comes from the federal government: the Canada Strong Pass, an initiative promoting domestic tourism through free or heavily discounted access to national parks, museums, and attractions all across Canada. “It’s always more fun when you don’t have to spend!”
This pass is completely free and will be valid from June 20 to September 2, 2025. There is no application or paperwork required. The Canada Strong Pass is not a physical or digital pass. You need to check which attractions are included.
The pass also offers a 25% discount on camping fees at national parks.
And that’s not all: free admission to national museums for anyone under 17, and 50% off for youth aged 18 to 24.
Enjoy it with your family, your friends, and if you’re hosting visitors, it’s the perfect chance to shine as a tour guide.
Summer vacation is all yours…
